Turkish Airlines refund for cancellation.
Do you qualify for it? If so, what are the rules in place?
The guidelines are specified in European Regulation (EC) No 261/2004, which describes the responsibilities of airlines and the rights of passengers in the event of flight cancellations. In case of Turkish Airlines, (EC) No 261/2004 only covers their flights from Europe.

Can you get Turkish Airlines refund for cancellation?
When are you entitled to flight cancellation compensation?
There are two possible scenarios. It depends on the timing of flight cancellation.
Now, let’s address this query — when was your flight cancelled?
Scenario 1: Flight Is Cancelled Less Than 2 Weeks Before the Trip
You’re entitled to: Refund or alternative flight + compensation (if Turkish Airlines is at fault).
This is deemed a last-minute flight cancellation.
If Turkish Airlines cancels your flight within 14 days of your travel, you have two options: a full refund or a new reservation to your intended destination. The choice is entirely up to you. If the cancellation was a mistake on Turkish Airlines’ part, you could be eligible for flight cancellation compensation.
Both the refund and the compensation will be transferred to your bank account.
